Brymill is a state-of-the-art apparatus for the application of liquid nitrogen in cryo procedures with different types of applicators depending on the medical indications.
Brymill cryotherapy or cryosurgery, as a term, means the application of means for deep cooling or freezing of changes on the skin for the purpose of treatment and medical care.
In dermatology, liquid nitrogen is most often used, which performs localized destruction and removal of unwanted changes on the skin. Liquid nitrogen is the most frequently used agent in world dermatology. Its temperature is -195.8 °C and represents the coldest cryosurgery technique. It freezes skin lesions faster, more completely and more effectively than other freezing agents (some carbons, nitrogen oxides, etc…). Also, it can be easily applied with high control and precision, using different applicators for individual skin changes.
Our center uses the most modern Brymill device with different types of applicators depending on the medical indications. Wart removal with cryotherapy is very effective.
Cryotherapy is used for numerous benign skin changes such as: viral warts of all shapes and locations, genital warts (condylomas), mollusca contagiosa (viral disease similar to warts, caused by the same virus), seborrheic warts, cornu cutaneum, keloids, hypertrophic scars, dermatofibromas, fibroma moles, minor hemangiomas and lymphangiomas, leukoplakias, solar (actinic) keratoses, age spots (lentigo solaris), as well as for acne cryopiling and cryomassage procedures.
Cryotherapy of all changes is performed under the control of a dermoscope. SkinCare Center therapists have undergone training for the application of cryotherapy in medical care and have a Brymill certificate.
