By dermoscopy it is possible to make a more reliable diagnosis of pigmented skin changes, and in particular to distinguish melanoma from other benign pigment changes. The clinical reliability of diagnosing melanoma with the naked eye was estimated at 65%, and a dermoscopic examination improved this reliability by 5-30%.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 1979. She passed the specialist exam in dermatovenerology in 1987 at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. Since 1982 until 2003 employed at the City Institute for Skin and Venereal Diseases in Belgrade from 1987-2003. in an outpatient clinic for allergy and occupational dermatosis.
Milan Bjekić was born in 1965 in Belgrade. He works at the City Institute for Skin and Venereal Diseases as a dermatovenerologist, where she runs the Counseling and Sexual Disease Service. In addition to clinical practice, he is involved in scientific (scientific advisor) and educational work (professor of vocational studies).
