Contrary to hair-by-hair treatments such as electrolysis, the laser treats a large number of hairs at once. Therefore, large areas, such as entire feet, hands or men’s backs, can be treated for a short period of time. You can immediately see results that cannot be compared to any traditional method such as electrolysis, shaving, waxing, chemical waxing or other treatments.
All hairs, including light, thin, black, thick (except sitting and red) can be treated. It is possible to treat hair from all surfaces on the body and face.
Several treatments need to be performed as the laser acts on hairs that are at a certain stage of growth. The hair grows into three different phases (each for itself) and the treatment is most successful when the hair is in the anagen phase of the cycle. To remove body hair, 4 to 6 treatments should be done at 2 month intervals. The number of treatments is individual and depends on the area being treated. To remove facial hair, 6 treatments should be performed at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks. In exceptional cases, depending on your specific hormonal status, taking certain types of medication, genetics, etc., you may need additional treatments.
The length of the laser session can be several minutes (eg earrings) up to several hours (eg backs, legs). The length of treatment depends on the size of the area being treated and the ability of the hair to absorb the laser light.
Immediately after treatment, the skin may turn red and appear to have small ant bites. This will withdraw within the next 24 hours. You will also notice that most of the hairs are carbonized, carbonized and leave dark spots in the treated area. The broken hairs will fall out over the next two weeks. Most clients can return to their daily activities immediately.
The hairs that you treated with electrolysis before the treatment, tapped with tweezers or wax will appear earlier because they were not even there when the treatment was done. They will definitely be covered in the next treatment if you are now just shortening them with scissors or shaving your razor. Do not rip them in the meantime! Thus, you run the risk of not being present again at the next treatment, thus increasing the total number of your treatments.
Women often use all of the above methods in the case of hair removal on the nipples and chin and are reluctant to wait 6 weeks until the next treatment. It is also possible to have a treatment 3 weeks after the first treatment to avoid the temptation to re-tug and prolong the permanent removal process.
It works on the principle of selectively damaging and disabling the hair follicle by the synergistic action of light energy and radio waves. This allows it to treat all skin types and the most sensitive skin (even sunburned skin) for maximum safety. Our laser also treats light hair, which is not possible with other devices. Melanin (a pigment located in the hair follicle) absorbs optical light, which warms the hair follicle and makes it easier to absorb radio waves. Radio waves additionally heat the hair follicle and cause sclerosis. Hair loss and permanent epilation occurs.
The pulse of the laser is carefully controlled to produce only as much energy as it needs to destroy the hair follicle and not harm the surrounding skin. The result is safe and effective hair removal. The laser has a specially designed cooling system to protect the skin. Thanks to the synergistic effect of optical light and radio waves, maximum treatment safety is achieved because the intensity of light energy is lower and radio waves additionally heat the desired target, leading to its sclerosis without damaging the surrounding tissue.
The feeling during treatment is an unpleasant burning sensation. In case of extreme sensitivity to pain, we offer the possibility of using the cream as a local anesthetic so that the intensity of pain is minimized. The cream is applied 90 minutes before the intervention.
This procedure has no painful effects upon completion of treatment. If you feel pain, apply ice for no longer than 2 seconds or cold cover as instructed by your therapist. (ice contact with the treated site for more than 2 seconds can have unintended consequences).
